Founded by Callum Ahearne, Brendan McCarron, and Jason Myers, Barrel & Bond brings together decades of experience across luxury assets, whisky production, and premium hospitality. Each of us came from different corners of the industry, but we all saw the same problem a whisky cask market filled with hype, inflated prices, and unclear promises.
We set out to change that.
Our goal was simple: to give private clients honest, informed access to the world’s best whisky casks without the noise. We built our business through referrals, relationships, and a commitment to education over salesmanship.

Jason Myers

Jason Myers is a seasoned business leader and Co-Founder of Barrel & Bond, bringing over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, operations, and strategic growth.
He has held senior leadership roles across world-renowned brands, including serving as Vice President of the Jumeirah Group in Dubai, where he oversaw global strategy and development for one of the most prestigious hotel portfolios in the industry.
Today, Jason leads businesses managing over 30 hotels and restaurants internationally. At Barrel & Bond, he brings his expertise in operational excellence, premium client experience, and long-term business strategy to the forefront.
As Co-Founder and Chairman, Jason plays a critical role in shaping the vision, ensuring exceptional service, and guiding sustainable growth helping position Barrel & Bond as a trusted name in the world of whisky cask ownership.
Brendan McCarron
Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor
Master Distiller | Master Blender | Industry Expert
Brendan McCarron is a Master Distiller and Master Blender who has worked with some of the most renowned whisky brands in Scotland, Ireland, and Japan including Glenmorangie and Ardbeg.
A respected figure in the global whisky world, Brendan has helped bridge the gap between private clients and trusted industry supply. His involvement ensures that Barrel & Bond can offer access to premium casks typically out of reach for non-trade buyers.
As Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor, Brendan oversees all cask acquisition and pricing, personally vetting each barrel we present. He has been involved in producing some best-selling bottles and should you choose to bottle your cask, his expertise will be invaluable in guiding that process.

Callum Ahearne has worked in the luxury asset space since the age of 17, beginning his journey in the fine wine market where he first discovered his passion for tangible, meaningful investments.
Over the past decade, Callum has sold millions of pounds worth of gold, whisky, wine, and art to private clients always focusing on assets that blend lifestyle, legacy, and long-term value. He’s built a reputation for trust, transparency, and results.
